Tragically, drivers have fatally struck at least two more people on foot this year on Chicago streets
One case was the third pedestrian death on Ashland Avenue in Chicago this year, and the second in Auburn Gresham. The other incident was the fourth pedestrian fatality on Pulaski Road in our city in 2026, and the second one in West Lawn.
