Guerra was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, authorities said. He was pronounced dead there at 1:51 a.m. last Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police are seeking a gray or silver car, which may be a Pontiac. As of Monday, they had not apprehended a suspect. Those with information about the crash are asked to call Major Accidents at 312-745-4521.
