Officer turning left in SUV collided with oncoming teen bike rider in W. Humboldt Park

If the officer chose to make a left after their light turned red, or failed to yield to oncoming bike traffic, do they deserve some blame?

CDOT just installed a Neighborhood Greenway on Wellington in Avondale. Why did it happen 6 years after the alder asked for it?

Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (35th) submitted a request for the greenway in 2017, but says CDOT didn't take action until he helped them with other bike lane projects.

Hit-and-run driver killed pedestrian Soyfa Athamanah, 69, as she crossed Broadway in Uptown.

Sun-Times photographer Tyler Pasciak LaRiviere witnessed the killing, and said he thinks it was intentional.
