Amtrak is now taking reservations for up to six bikes per train, and in some cases the bikes are stored on vertical racks on new "Venture" cars.

Unfortunately, Amtrak has cut bicycle capacity on Hiawatha Service. But bike-friendly Venture cars are coming.
It's a bummer that Amtrak reduced bike capacity without alerting customers, but help is on the way.
