    Many of us here have advocated before for more pedestrian areas. I wonder if creating one in Jackson Park would create them elsewhere. It’s weird to me that not a single area of the Loop is blocked off, even if only for awhile (say, 11 – 2 or something) to allow for a pedestrian zone. Not just because of the food truck phenomenon, but enjoyable public spaces like sidewalk cafes, pop-up stores, street musicians. Wasted opportunity.
