Great opportunity for a road redesign (diet, protected lanes) for old Touhy!

With a few minor intersection exceptions (Western and Ridge/Rogers), that section of Touhy (Western to Clark) is two lanes with parking and sharrows. No room for protected lanes. Only the intersections could use a diet, not the road as a whole. We’re not talking about where Touhy is a mess closer to the North Shore Channel and further west into Skokie/Lincolnwood/Niles.
