    I know the urge to buy is a lot less with younger generations, and saving up for a 20% down payment can be tough, BUT, man, for $2,195 for a 1 bedroom in a TOD, you’re literally above what a mortgage would be for a 1 bedroom condo in that area, and actually pretty close to what a 2 bed one bath condo (even including real estate taxes) mortgage would be.

    If the market is there it’s there, but it seems crazy.

    If Metra is going to raise it’s fares again they should expand reduced fares to full time college students and those with a low income.
