  • I was up at Foster and Central and had occasion to drive down Northwest Highway (and Milwaukee) to Lawrence — there are some really nice wide bike lanes being striped in north of Foster, and then they suddenly die as you near the Jeff Park station without warning.

    I became really glad I was in a car when I noticed that … freaking dangerous for cyclists.

    I think the CTA employee was the standard station Customer Service Agent, not a security guard and the witness didn’t know the difference.

    I also think the witness should have called 911 himself when it was taking CPD so long to respond. Clearly the CSA didn’t properly tell 911 the situation.
