    Re: splitting the lakefront path

It’s worth remembering that from roughly Foster to Montrose there a huge, wide road that actually runs close to the lakefront, and not immediately adjacent to the highway. I’ve been taking it recently to escape the noise and it’s never crowded. There are some paths too, making some of the area over there a nice alternative to Lakeshore Drive trail.

I mean, it would be nice if at times the lakefront path were a little closer to the lakefront, not the Drive.

(I was reminded how close the trail is to the highway last week. I came in during one of the rainy days, and a car had slid over the embankment and on onto the trail, where it was stuck with a flat tire.)
