For the Addison & Clark development, what amount of the 400 parking spots are available to the 150 apartments? I saw Cinemex has signed on to open a movie theater on the development’s second floor and the first floor will have shops fronting both Addison & Clark. Does anyone know the breakdown of the parking spots?

I would guess that of the 400 spots, only 100 are for the apartments and the remaining 300 are for the retail aspect of the development.

I don’t love the development but I appreciate the loss of the surface parking and the dream of making Wrigleyville more of a years-round attraction.

The problem is that those spots for retail will draw more people to drive to this development through an already ridiculously clogged area.

There was very little loss of surface parking for this development, there is a large net add of parking spots, which is not a good thing for that area.

I’m just wondering what the ratio is for the apartments/parking spots, because I don’t feel like Alderman Tunney and Mayor Emanuel would speak of the “transit-friendly” nature of the development unless it was 150 apartments/100 parking spots or less.
