  • I’m not a fan of adding new traffic lights so close to existing traffic lights, because of how they too often work *against* a smooth traffic flow (for bicyclists, pedestrians, and motorists).*

    The new light at Halsted Street/Fulton Market, though, will improve westbound bicycle routes because at certain times of a day it would be impossible to cross over Halsted. Often I would catch a break in traffic because it would be backed up in both directions, at Lake Street and at Grand Avenue.
