Well, there went 3 minutes of my life watching that CBS clip.

  • skyrefuge

If you thought your 3 minutes was wasted, just imagine being the poor intern who collected “8 hours of video over 4 days” and combed through it to demonstrate that all transport modes engage in asshattery, only to have it shown for about 5 seconds with with his boss concluding “yep, it’s probably bikers who are the problem.”

Seems like they were only 30 minutes of work away from creating an actual semi-scientific report documenting the frequency of bad behavior amongst different modes, but hey, why produce something useful when we can produce something dumb?

Though in their defense, the fact that “the number of citations given to bikers has more than doubled over the past two years” was news to me, so at least I learned *something* from those 3 minutes!

I love when they showed the three collisions from around the world, the pedestrians were at fault in each one.
