    It is, but it could’ve been politics. Just speculation here obviously, but if they didn’t vote for it, the downstate “geniuses” were gonna stick it to the RTA right in the wallet.

    Does anyone know if the Illiana vote happened before or after Oberman joined the Metra board? Also, I don’t think Ciavarella likely had much–if any–say in the Illiana vote.
